Types of misting systems

Fogging hose lines
Water fog is ideal for fine dust or odour control on waste recycling, ballast, and treatment works where dust or odour cause a nuisance to labourers or occupation health. The MultiMister static range will power fogging hose lines.

Water misting
Ideal for medium to heavy dust suppression and available in static or mobile pump units. Conveyor discharge or hoppers and ballast dust control with mist hose lines or cluster nozzles.

Fan assisted misting
Ideal for controlling areas that you can’t reach with hoses. Danger areas like crushing and screening waste or ballast, you can throw the mist and suppress dust and odours.

Jet misting
An ideal way to suppress dust with simple mechanics. The jet is pressurised to atomise the water that captures airborne dust particles. Quick to set up and easy to operate, the JetMister can be deployed in minutes.
Types of misting Nozzles

DQF nozzle
High pressure fogging
At 70 bar pressure the DQF nozzles will typically atomise the water droplets to 6–22 micron size which is ideal for indoor odour treatment, fine airborne dust, cooling and humidification control.

DQM nozzle
High pressure mist
At 70 bar pressure the DQM nozzles will typically atomise the water droplets to 50–200 micron which is ideal for heavy dust control.

DQJ nozzle
High pressure high flow
The jet pressure system the DQM nozzles will typically atomise the water droplets to 200–250 micron which is ideal for ballast dust suppression and wetting of wood chip stock.
